OOOPS!!!!

Caden dropped Chase today, scared me to death but Chase is ok. I was in the kitchen making lunch and Chase was in his swing on the other side of our bar so I couldn't see him. I heard Caden say "Do you want your mommy". Once I heard this I started walking in the living room when all of the sudden I could hear Chase screaming. He was lying face down on the carpet, thank goodness Caden is only a couple of feet from the floor so I think it just scared Chase. Caden had lifted him out of his swing and was going to carry him into the kitchen to me (He didn't make it two feet). I was so mad, I sent Caden to time out and settled Chase down. I have been telling Caden not to pick Chase up because he is to heavy for him and Caden tells me "I am BIG mom". I hope this scared Caden a little so a realizes I am serious and he wont try to pick him up anymore.

Do they look alike?

I have had a lot of people tell me that they think Chase and Caden look a lot alike. I don't see it, they have the same body build (big) but Chase has big Brown eyes and a dark hair, and Caden has big Blue eyes and was blond at 3 months. I don't know what do you think.

BIG AND STRONG

The other day Caden watched "Little Bill" (a cartoon) this episode was about eating good food and getting plenty of sleep so little Bill can grow big and strong like his dad. Caden picked right up on it and now every time he eats or wakes up he asks me if he is bigger. I will say "I think you are bigger" and he says "mom I am BIG and STRONG"!! So cute it makes me laugh and it is working to my advantage if I he wont eat or take a nap I just say "do you want to grow BIG and STRONG" and MOST of the time he does what he is asked.

Chase is getting so big and is so DARN CUTE. He smiles constantly now, you just have to look at him and he grins. He watches and follows you around the room and stairs at lights and things that move. He will be three months on the 23rd time goes so quick and babies change so fast. Everyday it seems like he learns something new, he talks and lets out yells that I think scares himself. He is still a good baby, at night he gets a little fussy. He is happy most of the time when he cries he SCREAMS, he screams like he is hurt. I have never seen a baby go from one extreme to the next with no fussing in between.

Talk in Primary

Caden is in Sunbeams now (3rd week) I cant believe it. He seem to really like it, he has a hard time holding still and likes to switch the lights on and off but other then that he does okay, O ya he also likes to escape. Today I went and got him and ask the teacher how he did she said"He only escaped once." That is my boy he has been able to open doors from a year and a half and has always been a runner once he's out.

Today he got to give a talk in primary, I was worried he would get up there and freeze then I would have to do it. He did GREAT he said everything loud and clear. His talk was (holding a picture of Jesus) I know that Jesus loves me because he gave me my mom, my dad, and my brother. He was so excited that he did it and Chad and I were proud parents. I cant believe my little guy is old enough for primary.

Chase's Blessing

Well Christmas week was busy with Caden's Birthday, Christmas and Chase's Blessing. We blessed Chase on the 27th in up north. We decided to do it there because my nephew Tyus was getting baptised that day and all of my family was going to be there. It worked out well everyone was able to come except Kim Chad's sister who lives in California. Chase looked so cute and reminded me a lot of Caden in this outfit.

I just took him to the Doctor yesterday for his 2 month check up and we weighs 13 pounds 12oz. He is exactly a pound smaller than Caden at two months. He is a chunky little guy lots of fat rolls and chubby cheeks that I cant stop kissing. He is doing great and is such a good baby we are so lucky to have him in our family.

We had a great Christmas and Santa found us even though we were in Wyoming. We spent the holiday with both of our families since they live in the same town. Caden was so excited about Santa and loved opening presents this year. He had his and his brothers presents opened in about ten minutes he didn't even care what was inside he just wanted to open them. Chase slept through most of Christmas but it was fun having a sweet baby to hold on such a wonderful holiday that celebrates our saviors birth, how special babies are. Caden got lots and lots of toys between Santa and the two families, some of his favorite toys were his remote control dinosaur, Geo track train station, spider man PJ's, and iron man, hulk, and sandman action figures. Chase got an activity chair, blocks and lots of cloths. It was so fun to see everyone and spend time with family. We hope everyone had a great Christmas and will have a Happy New Year!
