CHRISTMAS 2010

We had a very Merry Christmas! We stayed home this year which was nice for a change. We missed all of my family but enjoyed being home and having Santa come to our house. After we had Christmas morning at our house we went over to Grandpa and Grandma Nelson's house here and did it all over again. The boys were so excited and it was fun to watch them. Caden said "Santa brought everything on my list".

Caden's 5th Birthday!

Today was Caden's 5th Birthday! (I can't believe I have a 5 year old!) Caden has been telling people for a couple of months that he was 5, today made it official. Kori, Grandma Nelson, Chase, Caden and myself went to the movie Tangled this afternoon while we were waiting for dad to come home from work. We then had a Birthday party with family at Pirate Island Pizza. Caden using his marsh mellow shooter that Kasey and Angel gave him.

If you cant tell Caden is a huge Star Wars kid! He loves Darth Vader and wanted his cake to be him. Luckily my friend had this cake pan and was kind enough to let us use it. It took me about 2 hours to make this cake but I think it turned out ok. Caden loved it and that made it worth every minute!

On the 21st Caden had a friend Star Wars party. We had cake and presents at our house then went to Jumpin Jacks for some fun.

Caden's friends! Tippy, Noah, Brennon, Adam, Keaton, Nizhoni and Caden. Noah is Caden's new friend from preschool and is constantly talking about him. Caden said "Noah and I are Star Wars guys."

Caden is growing so fast and is such a fun kid to have in our home. He loves preschool and is learning how to read, do addition and story problems. (I cant believe the things they are teaching preschoolers.) Caden loves Star Wars, most action heroes, playing with friends, reading books, watching cartoons, watching movies and teasing Chase.

We are so proud of you Caden and love you so much!

Erickson Christmas Party

This year we had our Erickson Christmas party earlier than normal. We usually have it on Christmas night but my parents are going to India and a few of us siblings were not going to be up there this year so we decided to get together on the 18Th. We went bowling and had a great time. Everyone singing Happy Birthday to Tracy, Caden, Tyus, Katie, and Jackson. They are all going to have birthdays in the next few weeks.

We went to the mall today to see SANTA! Caden was so excited to tell Santa his list but Chase was not so much. Chase liked waving and looking at him but did not want to sit on his lap.

Thanksgiving 2010

We went to Wyoming for Thanksgiving and had a great time. The boys and myself were able to go for 2 weeks and Chad met us for Thanksgiving weekend. It snowed so much while we were there and my family all went sledding the day after Thanksgiving. The boys had a great time playing in the snow, Caden even tried snow boarding.

Hunting Trip

Chad and Caden went on a weekend hunting trip in September up on Strawberry. This was Caden's first weekend hunting trip and he loved it. He loved the four-wheeler rides, sleeping in the trailer, the food and spending alone time with his dad. They went with several of Chad's dads brothers and friends. Caden is still talking about this trip and can't wait to go next year.
