Caden's first day of 1st grade

Aug 15th was Caden's first day of the 1st grade in a new school. He was so excited to go!!

The first 4 days Caden did really well and seemed to really like it. On the 5th day he started getting anxiety and nervous when I drop him off. We have been working with his teacher Mrs. Quan, Principal Stahili, and the School Councilor trying to work through it. He keeps saying that he doesn't know anybody the day is so long. I hope this is a short term thing and he will let himself enjoy school. The school seems very good and the people have been supper nice and helpful. Change is hard thing to go through!!

2012 Erickson Family Reunion

We had our Erickson Family Reunion in Bear Lake. We had so much fun and the boys loved camping and playing with their cousins!!

Swimming Lessons in Washington

After we moved to Washington we decided to put the kids in swimming lessons again at the Rec. Center. They both really enjoyed them. Caden is able to swim, back float, and dive. He has made so much progress from the start of the summer.

Home Sweet Home!!

July 9th we finally closed on our new house in Washington Fields. This has been a long process. We put an offer in on this house October 2011, because it was a shot sale we knew it could take several months but was not expecting 10 months. Our realator told us we should hear back from the bank by Feb 2012 and be able to move in sometime in April if the bank excepts our offer. We heard back from one bank in Feb but the people had two mortgages on this house so we had to wait for the second bank to except our offer as well. June 9th the second bank finally excepted and we were able to close 30 days latter. We didn't move in until July 22nd. We wanted to clean it really well, paint and fix a few things before moving in. My parents came for a week and helped clean and fix everything up. They were so much help, I can't thank them enough!! It has been an adjustment trying to make new friends and meeting all new people but we are enjoying the ward and the neighbors we know so far.

Tooth #5 and #6

Caden lost Tooth #5 July 8th and Tooth #6 July 12th. He looked so cute with his snaggle tooth. He has lost his four front top teeth all in about a month. Wow Bud, I am not sure I have ever seen that before. He has a hard time eating now because he has no teeth.

Grandma Verna Graham Kennington

While we were in Florida my parents called and told me that my Grandma Kennington had passed away. Grandma was 90 years old and had been sick for sometime so it was a blessing she could go. We got home from Florida Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon I headed to Boise ID. I flew from St. George to Salt Lake and then rode with my parents to Boise, that help break up the long ride. Chad stayed home with the boys while I made the quick trip.

I have many great memories of Grandma and will miss her deeply!

Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando 2012

We went to Disney World in Florida the end of June first of July with all of Chad's family. We had so much fun and hit all 4 parks in Disney World (Magic Kingdom with is a lot like Disneyland in California, Disney Hollywood Studios which is a lot like California Adventure park in California, Epcot Center, and the Disney Animal Kingdom Park.

Star Wars Ship was a hit with the boys they also loved the ride.

The Animal Kingdom park was so fun. It is like going to a zoo but you can get in these jeeps and they take you out on a tour of all these animals in the their natural habitats. We saw all kinds of animals from Tigers, Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, Crocodiles and many many more. Everyone enjoyed this park!!

Epcot Center!!

What an amazing place this was. You can walk around this park and see all different countries go into shops and eat food that all pertains to their country. I wish we would have had more time to spend here but all well maybe next time!!

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS ORLANDO

While we were in Florida we hit Universal Studio's!! Florida's is much better than California's in my opinion. Some of the favorite rides were Spider Man, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Despicable Me, Cat and the Hat, ET and many more. They boys loved this park and they had so many thing to do!
