Welcome Chase

We had our baby, Chase Chad Nelson, October 23rd, 10:30 am.

He weighed 7 lb 13 oz, 20 3/4 inches long.

He is so cute and we are so glad he is here. He came really fast I was in labor for only 3 hours and the anastegologist got there 5 minutes before I had him so I felt everything. It was an experience to say the least but I would do it again to get such a sweet little thing. Chase and myself are doing really well he is such a good baby. Caden loves him to pieces and has handled this change really well. I will post more pictures later.

Staheli Farm

We went to Staheli Farm for family night, this has become our fall tradition. Caden loves it out there they have swings, slides, tractor rides, corn maze, and pumpkin patch were you can pick out your own pumpkin. They also have a little petting zoo of farm animals which Caden loved to see the baby pigs, chickens, goats, lambs, and roosters. What a fun place to visit if you are ever in St. George in October.

Caden's excited for Halloween

Caden is so excited for Halloween we went and picked out his costume a couple of weeks ago, as you can see he picked the HULK! As soon as we got home he had is on running around the house. Every time he sees any skeletons or Halloween decorations he gets so excited and says "mom look there Halloweens" so far nothing has scared him yet. His dad took him in a Halloween store and they both tried on scary masks Caden loved it and through a fit when it was time to go. He is so much fun this year and defiantly has an opinion on everything. So for now he is going to be Hulk that is if he doesn't wear it our before Halloween gets here.

Look at that belly!!

Well I am 35 1/2 weeks pregnant. I have been on moderate bed rest for the past 2 weeks because of high blood pressure (I did this with Caden as well). I went to the Dr. today and he said my blood pressure has stayed pretty much the same so I don't have to be on strict bed rest this week, that was good news. I am hoping to make it to at least 37 1/2 to 38 weeks before I go into labor or they start me. We will just take it week by week and see how it goes. I feel great and cant tell if my blood pressure is high so this makes it hard to rest but I will do my best. The best you can with a two year old. We are getting excited for our baby to join our family.

5th Anniversary

Can you believe it the 5th of September was Chad and my 5 anniversary!! Time goes so fast, we have had a great five years. I feel very blessed to have such a great husband and father in my house, that hard to find now days. Chad sent me these beautiful flowers to the house and called his sister to watch Caden so we could go have couples massage and go to dinner. What a romancer!!! We had a great date and really enjoyed the massages, we ate at the Gun Barrel, this is were we ate on our first anniversary and I am sure we will go back on another. The Gun Barrel is a steak house but they have wild game also like elk buffalo ext. Chad loves the buffalo steak, I of course get chicken every time but they have good food.
I hope to have many more anniversaries with Chad, it will be fun to see what the next five years has in stored for us. I love you Hun and thanks for everything you do I wouldn't trade you for the world.

Labor Day Weekend

We were going to go up to Wyoming for Labor Day but decided to stay home. We went to fiesta Fun here in St. George and rode the bumper boats and race cars. Of course Caden loved it but his attention span is about five seconds so we just chase him from one thing to the other. Caden has wanted to sleep out in a tent for a while so we decided it has cooled off enough that we could this weekend well it ended up raining so him and his dad set up camp in the living room. I don't think Caden cared much that he was inside all he wanted was to sleep in a tent. We ended up having a fun little weekend with just our little fam.

Ouch

Caden found Chads Ace bandages from when he hurt his leg last summer and was asking Chad what they are. Chad put one on his leg and Caden didn't want to stop there he got all of the bandages out and wanted them on. He loved it until he looked in the mirror and he must of got claustrophobic, he couldn't get them off fast enough. He keeps life interesting, we are so lucky to have him he is such a cute kid.
