RIO

We went to Rio 3D when it first came out and loved it. I was just looking at our pictures and found these of the boys. Chase was so funny with the 3D movie, he would jump ever time something looked like it was going to get him. He would wear the glasses for a while then take them off when it got to "scary".

NO MORE DIAPERS!!!

So my little man is officially potty trained. Chase has been weeks without an accident and I am so HAPPY. No more pull-ups (even at night time)!! Of all the stages that I have been through so far with my kids potty training is my least favorite. There is nothing like cleaning up countless messes, washing 10 pair of underwear in a day, and standing in line at the store looking down and seeing a puddle under your child. O the joys of potty training!!

My BIG 2 year old!!!
My Dad saw this child toilet seat in The Home Depot and thought this would be the ticket to get Chase to poop in the potty. It didn't work immediately but he eventually figured it out and O how we love this seat now. No more falling in the toilet for little bums!

Tubes

Chase has had 4 ear infections since January 2011 so the Dr recommended to put tubes in his ears. We went in early yesterday morning to have the surgery and Chase did GREAT. He let the nurses take his vital signs and weight. The anesthesiologist gave Chase the medicine to help him relax before they took him into surgery, about 5 minutes later Chase would just laugh and laugh. Chad would try to give him five but Chase couldn't quite connect to Chads hand, he would throw his head back and laugh. It was so funny, he was relaxed. When it was time for them to take him into surgery he sat on the bed and waved goodbye to Chad and I. The surgery took about 15 minutes. Chase wasn't quite so happy coming out of the anesthesia. On our way out of the hospital we stepped into the elevator and Chase threw up everywhere. We went back in got him cleaned up and then headed home. Chase slept till 1:30pm and woke up happy and ready to play. We spent the rest of the day outside riding bikes. He is such a trooper!!

My sweet Chaser happy as ever. I sure hope these tubes help Chase's ears so we can keep our Happy boy!!

Easter 2011

We had a fun Easter this year. Saturday we dyed eggs and turned them into little egg monsters. Sunday all of Chads family (except for Kori who is on a mission) came over and had lunch and an Easter egg hunt. The boys loved looking for egg and got spoiled once again.

1st Fishing trip of 2011

We went fishing last night at Sand Hollow and had a great time. The weather has been so nice so we decided it was time to pull the boat out. We didn't catch a fish but Caden has improved so much from last year on casting his pole. Chase was much easier to keep in the boat then last year. Last year he would try to climb over the side constantly. He has a little more fear in him this year. When the boys got done fishing they liked hanging over the boat and playing in the water.

T-Ball

This is Caden's first year to play T-ball. He is doing so well, he can hit and throw the ball pretty far. It is so fun to watch him.

"The Dentist"

Today I took both Caden and Chase to the dentist for a cleaning and check-up. This was Chase's first dentist visit and I was very nervous about taking them alone. They did great!! Caden was nervous and kept telling them that he was done and trying to grab the dental instruments as they were trying to clean his teeth. He didn't cry once and tried really hard to be clam. This is good for Caden, in the past he has screamed bloody murder. Chase did cry and didn't really like it but he was manageable and it didn't last long. They were both glad to be done and so was I. After we went to lunch at Mc Donald's and while we were walking in Chase started throwing up in the parking lot. I think his stomach was upset from crying and all the toothpaste and fluoride they used. Once he threw up he acted fine and was ready to play. What a kid!! Best of all no one had Cavities!!

I was holding Chase down while they cleaned his teeth so I didn't get any pictures of him in the chair. This is him when we got in the car.
