PARADE OF HOMES

This past week was the Parade of homes here in Southern Utah. Our Cabinet shop (Stonebrook Cabinets) did two of the homes. They looked so good and we had lots of compliments. It was fun to see the finished product. We did a smaller house #18 in Tuscany Hills and a bigger house #19 on Sunbrook Golf course. All the guys work long hours and do such a good job. We are so grateful for all they do, we couldn't do it without them. Thanks Guys! Here are some pictures of the of the woodwork from the two homes.

MY MAN IS 30!

Yesterday was Chad's 30th Birthday. It didn't seem to bother him to much that he was 30. I think I had a harder time with it. Not that I care that he is 30, it just hit me that we are getting older and we aren't going to stay in our 20's forever. It is just WEIRD! I remember being in high school looking at couples with young kids at the same stage of life we are at and thinking that is so far away for me. Here I am and I don't know where the time went. I cant believe how fast my life has gone and changed since high school. I love my little family to pieces and wouldn't change anything but I would like to know where time goes.
I wanted to make a big deal of this birthday but if you know Chad you know he is a quiet guy and doesn't like a scene. We went out to dinner with our boys and came home for cake and Ice cream. Caden helped make the a cake and card, he even signed his name on the bottom of the card all by himself. I was so proud and so was he (we have been working on writing his name for a couple of weeks). We had a quiet evening and enjoyed spending time with each other. It doesn't get any better than that! Happy Birthday Babe! I am so blessed to have you as my husband and appreciate all you do for me and our boys. I hope to share many more birthdays together, even if it means were getting older.

The three cutest boys around!

Look at all that smoke. It took both Caden and Chad several blows to blow out all those candles.

SLEDDING

Southern Utah got hit with winter storms last week. Saint George only got rain (lots of it), but Cedar City got snow. We decided to go slay ridding in Cedar on Saturday. We had a lot of fun. I forget that even though we don't get snow at our house we are not to far from it. We will have to go more often.

Chaser going for a ride in the sled. He had a hard time moving due to his marshmallow outfit.

Mom and Chase going down the hill. WATCH OUT BELOW!

Caden sledding down the hill. He couldn't get enough sledding. He would go down walk back up and want to go again but faster or down a jump. He was in heaven!

This was the first time Chase has ever played in snow. He tried walking and face planted, he didn't seem to mind he just licked his lips and started crawling.

Caden making a snow angle. We also tried to make a snow man but the snow wasn't wet enough it wouldn't stick together.

CTR

Last week was Caden's first week in his new class in primary CTR 4. His teacher gave them little CTR rings at church. When we got home I asked Caden what his ring stood for and he said
"to go the wrong way." He was dead serious and I couldn't stop laughing. I think he got a little confused when they were explaining the meaning of the CTR rings. I thought this was pretty funny though!

Happy New Year

We had a fun New Year. My sister's kids (Bailey, Tyus, and Peyton) came and stayed with us while there parents went to Nevada. We had dinner at home and played games and watched TV until the new year arrived. Chad's parents were also down and came over for the fun.

DECEMBER

We had a great month. We got to go to Wyoming for Christmas which Caden had been waiting for for a long time. Caden had his 4 birthday which he had also been waiting a long time for. We saw all of our family some friends and got to relax. Here are some picture of our adventures.

The day after Christmas my brother Alan and his family, my brother Ryan and his family, me and my family and my Mom and Dad went ice skating at the pond in Evanston. We had a lot of fun. It was cold but was worth adventuring out of the house for.

This is Caden and Jackson taking a break from ice skating! Caden loved the snow and was excited to play in it. He doesn't get to see snow to often!

SANTA

We went and saw SANTA tonight. Caden was so excited and told him he wanted a transformer that mouth opens. As you can see Chase was not as excited to see SANTA he made it about two seconds and was done.
