Chase's Blessing

Well Christmas week was busy with Caden's Birthday, Christmas and Chase's Blessing. We blessed Chase on the 27th in up north. We decided to do it there because my nephew Tyus was getting baptised that day and all of my family was going to be there. It worked out well everyone was able to come except Kim Chad's sister who lives in California. Chase looked so cute and reminded me a lot of Caden in this outfit.
I just took him to the Doctor yesterday for his 2 month check up and we weighs 13 pounds 12oz. He is exactly a pound smaller than Caden at two months. He is a chunky little guy lots of fat rolls and chubby cheeks that I cant stop kissing. He is doing great and is such a good baby we are so lucky to have him in our family.

Merry Christmas!

Caden's presents from Santa

We had a great Christmas and Santa found us even though we were in Wyoming. We spent the holiday with both of our families since they live in the same town. Caden was so excited about Santa and loved opening presents this year. He had his and his brothers presents opened in about ten minutes he didn't even care what was inside he just wanted to open them. Chase slept through most of Christmas but it was fun having a sweet baby to hold on such a wonderful holiday that celebrates our saviors birth, how special babies are. Caden got lots and lots of toys between Santa and the two families, some of his favorite toys were his remote control dinosaur, Geo track train station, spider man PJ's, and iron man, hulk, and sandman action figures. Chase got an activity chair, blocks and lots of cloths. It was so fun to see everyone and spend time with family. We hope everyone had a great Christmas and will have a Happy New Year!

Caden turned 3 on the 23rd so we had a friend B-day party for him at McDonald's on the 20th. He had so much fun, there were 14 kids under the age of five, so it was mad house but what a great place to let kids run wild (McDonald's). I was busy trying to get all the kids there Happy Meals and Ice Cream I forgot to take to many pictures but I did get most of it on video so that will have to do this year.

On the 23rd we went to Wyoming and had a family B-day party for Caden and his cousin Tyus whose birthday is the same day. We went swimming at the Evanston Rec Center, Caden got spoiled again. I can't believe my little guy is three, time has gone so fast. We don't know what we would do without him, we love you Caden.

IT SNOWED!!!!!

IT SNOWED in St. George last night, we woke up to a couple of inches. Caden was so excited when he looked out the window and there was snow on the ground and it was still snowing. A couple of Caden's friends (Brennon and Keaton) were coming over to play this morning so we decided to make a snow man when they got here. The kids loved it they had a ball playing in the fresh snow and look at that cute snow man. They were so proud of it and wanted to leave it up to show Chad when he got home from work, but it has been to warm and melted to much it tipped over at about three (Caden was so sad) so Chad will have to look at the pictures. This is about as much snow as I have ever seen in the 4 1/2 years that we have lived here. It was fun but I am ready for it to be warm again. I better go Caden just put Play-Doh up his nose.
Life is never dull with kids.

Black Friday Deal!!

My sister and I went shopping bright and early black Friday morning. We got some goods deals and had a lot of fun watching the thousands of people going crazy. We waited in line to check out at Wal-mart for over an hour and half and about forty five minutes at target. Don't go if you are in a hurry, there are lots of people and long lines but is so fun if you know what you are in for. I went and stood in line at Home Depot for a shop vac that Chad had to have, when they opened the doors several people went running to the Christmas trees. I then heard a worker say that they were 7.5 foot LED pre-lit trees originally $200.00 going for $49.99. I decided I need one since our old tree wasn't pre-lit and I dreaded putting it up because it took me so long to put the lights on. Needless to say I got there in the nick of time and got the last tree, I was worried that when we opened it it would look like a $50.00 tree, but we are so happy with it. It looks great and fits perfect in our little house. The tree was my best deal of the day but I also got some other good things and my sister went nuts and bought tons of stuff. It was a successful year and to all of you who have never tried shopping on black Friday morning you should at least once, it is kind of addicting and I look forward to it every year.
Caden has redecorated our tree a couple of times not to mention he was spinning and fell in it, that is why the bottom half is almost bare. What is Christmas for it you can't have some fun right!!!

Crazy, Crazy

This is such a crazy time of year. We have been keeping busy and our computer was doing something weird for a few days so I couldn't get on to blog. Chase is getting chubby chubby he is so fun and such a good baby, I don't know how we got so lucky. Caden still cant keep his hands off of him. It is so fun to watch Caden hold and talk to him, you can tell they already have a bond. Caden's birthday is next week and he cant wait, this is the first year were he understands what is going on. He is having a spider man birthday and everyday he asks when is Spider man party is. Santa is a big name in our house this year, Caden talks about Santa and how he is going to bring him Spider man, Iron man, Hulk, and Sandman (action figures). (My son is obsessed with marvel comics, just like his dad) If Caden is being naughty or isn't listening Chad will tell him that he will call Santa and tell him to take one of his toys away, Caden listens really quick puts his arm out to stop Chad and says "Don't call Santa Dad". It is so cute but what a mean thing to do. Kids are so fun especially this time of year when they get so excited I cant wait for Christmas morning. I hope everyone has a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
