Soccer

Last weekend Caden had his first soccer game. This is the first year he is old enough to play and he is loving it. Cody Wardal is his coach and he is wonderful with the kids. It is so much fun to watch the kids play. One of Cadens favorite positions to play is goalie, he has blocked a few balls.

While Caden is playing soccer Chase is digging for worms. Such a BOY!!

The Blue Angels

A couple of weekends ago the The Blue Angels came to St. George for an air show. Chad and I took the boys and had a good time watching the planes and jets do tricks. It is amazing how fast they can go and fly so close together. We had a good time!

Caden by an U.S. Air Force plane.

This was Caden's favorite jet. It was so LOUD!!

An old school jet and a modern day jet flying next to each other. Times have sure changed!

4 of the 6 Blue Angles flying in a diamond pattern. They were flying so close together. I thought for sure they were going to hit.

Great Job!!

My boys have been doing a great job in school and have gotten a few awards. Caden participated in a art contest at school and won a 1st and 3rd place metal for a picture of his pet turtle he took himself.

Caden and his metal!

The picture of (pokey) the turtle Caden took by himself!

Chase got two awards in the past few months. He got to be the "pop"ular student where he was spotlighted and got to tell the class about himself. He also got the Star of the Week for his homework. He loves preschool and is doing so well in it.

Great Job boys!! We are so proud of you!

Brian Head Tubing

On Saturday we took the boys up to Brian Head to go tubing. It was raining at our house when we left so we assumed it was probably snowing up there, boy were we right. It was a white out at times!!! We had so much fun tubing and we didn't even mind the snow (since we don't get to see it very often). Caden and I went tubing for about 4 hours and Chase and Chad made it about 2 hours then Chase had had enough. We had so much fun and the boys keep asking us when we can go again.

All of us!

Sunbeams and CTR 6

Since it is a new year Caden and Chase got to move classes in Primary. Caden is now in CTR 6 and Chase is a Sunbeam!! Chase walked right in to Primary and sat down next to his teacher like he had done it a 100 times. Caden is so excited that Chase will be in Primary with him now and he gets to walk Chase to his class after Sacrament. My boys are growing up so fast!!

New Years Eve 2011!

We stayed home this year for new years eve. In the past we have gone to dinner or out in the town but it is so busy and the kids were miserable. We got pizza, watched movies, played games and went swimming down at the club house. We let the kids stay up as late as they wanted by 11:30 they had had it and were off to bed. 2011 was a good year for our family and we are excited to see what 2012 has in store for us. Happy New Year Everyone!

Christmas 2011

We spent Christmas at our house this year. The boys were so excited and loved opening their presents. I think the highlight was the trampoline Santa brought them. After opening up presents Christmas morning at our house we went to Grandma and Grandpa Nelson's house here in hurricane and opened up more presents.

The boys christmas eve in there new PJ's!

Last but not least is Pokey the turtle. He was suppose to be a Christmas present from Chad and I to the boys but was discovered a couple of weeks early. I bought him the day after Thanksgiving because the pet store had all reptiles 50% off for black friday. Me being the sale shopper that I am had to buy it then and tried to hide it tell Christmas in our closet. The second week in December Chad forgot to shut the closet door when he left for work and Caden woke up before me and came in my room. The turtle has a heat lamp on at night so he doesn't get to cold and this make the closet glow red. I heard Caden go in there and I said "Caden What are you doing". He said "just looking at this turtle". I told him it was suppose to be a Christmas present and he said "well you should not have put it in your closet then." Ha Ha he is right but I didn't know where else I could put it and still take care of it for a month. All well they got a Christmas present early.
